Walker

Ellie learned to walk with her walking-push-toy today!  She is very proud of herself and can use it on the carpet and outside in the grass.  She may or may not be, but Mommy and Daddy are definitely NOT ready for her to use the walker on the slippery, wood and tile floors. 

It is very cute, bending over as she pushes the toy in front of her, stopping every so often to twirl the thingy-doodle on the front of the toy, then pushing again as she watches her feet with innocent concentration.

Late afternoon, Daddy decided to mow the backyard.  Ellie loves to watch Daddy mow, so she and I joined Daddy in the backyard with her walker.  Daddy would make a pass by us and Ellie points, exclaims, "Da!" and waves wildly - with both hands.  I have never seen Daddy glow while mowing - a smile from ear-to-ear... he is loving parenthood!
