In the Way

OK, we arrived in NY a day too early.  Everyone is busy.  There is a

Girl Scout Cookie Drive

in the morning, a wedding in the afternoon and more guests arriving all day.  Daddy, Ellie and Mommy are no good at anything useful, so we hide away in front of the TV and make people wait on us.  We are not just in the way, we are the cause of more work!  But, we have a good time and there are enough other hands to get everything done.  There is a great, big dinner and then Daddy, again stays up to socialize as Mommy uses Ellie as the excuse to crash early (what if she wakes up and doesn't recognize where she is?!)  Ellie was up every 2 hours last night, so I am tired.
