Another Monday

Ellie had another great night!  A 3am waking - right back to sleep, then 6am - back to sleep, finally awake at 6:30am.  I know, I see 6:30am, too... but I am ecstatic!  It feels like sleeping in!  But, not to Daddy, so Ellie and I headed off to morning mass to let Daddy sleep some more.  Not the best reason to go to church, but it gets us there, right?!  We played on the swing before heading in and then Ellie quietly flipped through the missalette for 10 minutes before getting bored.  So, we (were forced to...) decided to sit in the crying room, instead.  She was very happy in the crying room because some of her friends were there.
After a nap at home, it was time to head down to Harrisonburg for a doctor appointment for me.  (I always have a whole slew of doctor appointments, then go months without any... kind of like I get them out of the way for a few months.  The appointment was about 5 minutes long, the wait was a whole lot longer.  Then Costco (our favorite place in the whole World), and back home again to work on laundry and visit the neighbors.  Ellie was taught how to feed the neighbors' goats when they babysat her last week, so I got to see a new skill.  Very adorable - she holds onto the fence, squats to rake her hand through the grass, comes back up with one, small, dead piece and reaches through the fence where a happy goat pulls it out of her fingers; repeat.  We played with the eldest girl in the family who is 12 (I believe) and very precocious.
As Ellie and I are leaving, she states, "You are a lot busier with Ellie then before she came."  A bit of an understatement, but true - I had to laugh!  She took the picture of Ellie and me on the swing set.

I forgot to mention last week that Ellie's fourth and fifth teeth came in.  Top, center right on Wednesday the 27th (her 11 month birthday that we totally glossed over...) and the top, center left that very next day the 28th.  Also, I weighed and measured her today for her 11 month stats, she is 29 inches long and 18 pounds.  That puts her at 70% for height and only 7% in weight.  Don't worry, don't panic... we are still OK, remember she is being weaned and is not really preferring cow's milk.  Although, about 10 minutes after Jeff flipped out, saying I couldn't handle dealing with him, a baby who refuses milk, all the tasks I fail to get done and housework; Ellie drank half a cup of milk.  Also, when I put her to bed, I rocked her and she drank another 1/3 cup.  I think we need to start being very careful how we act and what we say around her.  Ellie is one smart cookie!
Trying to eat healthier, because Ellie is no longer nursing... she ate 15 raspberries and 25 blueberries for dinner (plus 1 green bean and 3 Cheerios).  Good food, but what will the consequences be tomorrow?!?
