Preparations

Friends brought chairs and tables to the house.  We all went shopping for party supplies.  Jeff’s brother put together Ellie’s new sand/water table that they had given her for her birthday.  We blew up balloons.  We played in the sand and water.  We visited the horses, cats and fish and neighbor's goats.  We even weeded the round pen.  We opened Ellie’s gift from her aunt in South Carolina because Mommy knew there would be a perfect outfit for her celebration… sure enough, there were two!  We made a wonderful German style dinner of schnitzels.  Then, we rested.
