Happy Birthday, Ellie! You are now a one year old – into the whole digits!!!
Fever still high, Ibuprofen keeping it in check.
We spent the morning in DC and then arrived back home in time for the phone call stating our first guests would be arriving in 4 hours. Ellie visited the neighbors for 2 ½ hours while Mommy went on a rampage of cleaning; vacuuming, steaming carpets, dusting, wiping, stacking and hiding everything else. They arrived after dinner.
We decided that we would only do a small celebration to recognize Ellie’s special day because the big party is on Sunday. So, Mommy and Ellie went to Walmart and picked out a cupcake instead of a big cake. Fortunately for us, the cupcake was the size of a cake! We waited up until our guests arrived, but Ellie was too tired to eat cake, she fed her piece to Mommy.
