We are preparing to go to Virginia Beach to visit El's Grandparents (Mommy's side).

We scheduled Alex's cardiologist appointment for next week and are trying to mentally prepare for the worst, while expecting the best possible outcome... more next week.

Didn't mention the problem that was discovered with Katy during her vet visit on Monday. We were given some cream to put on her privates because they were swollen and infected, something that happens often in dogs that have been spayed (so often that Jeff and I had never heard of it, but I guess that is life.) In any case, she is in terrible pain and we can not get the cream in the right spot due to her reaction to us fishing around down there. So, while I am in VA Beach, Katy will be at the local kennel, engoying a spa-like existence where professionals apply creams to your privates. Not a place I would enjoy and Katy will undoubtedly hate it, too, but she needs to get better.

El and I ran errands and went to the library. El likes her books and is read atleast 10 a day. She chooses books over toys and even over videos/movies. Daddy is already talking about wanting her to read A History or Knowledge and some of his other favorite books. Mommy is still working on the Baby Books.. Touch and Feel books are a favorite.
