Yeah! Our first swimming lesson was a blast! We sang songs and "swam" back and forth the width of the pool. Our instructor first told us to blow bubbles 
in the water and let the babies imitate. After we all did a lap or two, he retracted, saying that the babies really weren't at the stage to be able to blow bubbles.

I stopped blowing bubbles when El imitated with a wide, open mouth AND nose! After I stopped, she kept trying, but I think she was really just trying to drink the water. I had a heck of a time attempting to keep the kid's head OUT of the water! She kept coming up sputtering, but it didn't bother El one bit!
So, swimming was a success and we are looking forward to Thursday! Daddy hopes this is the beginning of a full ride swimming scholarship to Stanford.
The best part came once we got home... El and Mommy napped for 3 hours!!!
