Daddy is still not feeling well. We think its allergies, but it is really hitting him hard. He had to stay home as Ellie and I had a very exciting day. We headed out early to swim class to stop by our friends house and return a bag of hair cutting supplies he accidentally left at our house the night before. Then, we swam for 30 minutes, dressed - headed to Costco where Ellie fell asleep in the Moby. Even though I was done shopping, I continued to walk around so she could finish her nap. Then we went to Martin's, the mall, Michael's... we really didn't need anything, except to kill time before our 2pm car appointment. It would have been too much trouble to go home after swimming, just to come back. By 1:30, we were both exhausted and out of places to go, so we ended up at the car dealership early. They were gracious enough not to take us even a minute earlier than our scheduled time, so we fiddled around there for an hour, finally returning home by 4pm. Just in time for a nap, dinner, bath and bed. Next time, I will schedule a little better!
We are trying something new with Ellie's hair. She was pulling the bow-barretets out, so we found tiny rubberbands and I put a twiggy on the top of her head. I usually dampen it and twist it over, so it isn't so obvious. But with swimming and trying to get out of the crowded locker room quickly, I just let it go. Daddy calls it Ellie's spout. She looks a little like a Dr. Seuss character.
