Uncle Marvin Visits and Cruising

Uncle Marvin came to visit last night.  He went to mass with us this morning and then he and Mommy worked on various projects that Jeff and I have been wanting to get done.  By the time Uncle Marvin left, he and Ellie were pretty, good pals.  This meant, he could actually hold her if he stayed near Mommy.

This evening, Mommy and Daddy were watching a movie and Ellie was playing in the theater.  There is a low bookshelf in front of the screen and Ellie had pulled herself up.  Holding onto the bookshelf, she cruised, very slowly and deliberately, walking foot over foot, then moving one hand over the other in order to get the blue comb Mommy uses to pull all the extra layers of dog hair off the pups.  Sure, that comb is dirty and nasty, but when someone works that hard to obtain it, you let her chew and slobber all over that comb!  Congratulations, Ellie - first time you cruised the furniture, you are on your way to independence and ... walking!!!
Check out the pig tails.  A little uneven, but this was a first attempt.  Look a little like horns!
