Swim Day 1 Take 2

Today was the first swim class for this second time we have signed up for classes; hence - take 2.  We are taking swim classes every other month.  Grandma joined us at the class, but watched from a viewpoint out of the water.  Ellie did so well, even better than the last time we were in the pool.  She really relaxed when held on her back.  She did more leg movements, can't quite call it kicking, but something close to kicking.  We have 14 babies in the class, 2 that we recognize from a month ago.  The class size was fine in the pool because each baby had a guardian.  The problem of a big class was prominent after we all got out of the pool and tried to change out of our wet suits in a tiny changing room... there were nekid babies everywhere!  And the noise; unhappy, nekid babies and frantic, half-dressed Moms with bench space for about a third of them.  I have never dressed Ellie and myself so quickly!

Then, we went to Costco and picked up another of those Sacher Tortes (Jeff said it would be the practice cake for my birthday cake - tomorrow!)  Grandma was doing a great job keeping Ellie awake on the way home, until about 5 minutes to arrival.  Ellie crashed hard and did not wake up to be removed from the car seat or placed in her crib.  She slept for 2 hours - until Grandma and I woke her up while pounding the pork tenderloins for schnitzels.  For dinner, we had schnitzels, mashed potatoes and sauerkraut and, of course, Sacher Torte!  YUM!
Daddy was able to stay up, but Ellie, Grandma and I were in bed early.
