Daddy's Contribution...

This evening, I asked Daddy to help with the blog.  I asked him what Ellie did today.  His response, "Ellie was cute.  Well, that was special for me."  Then, he went back to watching The Office on the computer.

OK, what else happened today?  Well, the Grandma scheme didn't work quite as planned.  Seems Ellie is going to need a few more days to warm up.  But, Grandma has inspired and pushed me to get a whole lot more done today than I would have, so we (Grandma, Jeff and I) have high hopes for the rest of the week!  :)  Grandma is also helping us with our milestones... working on words, pointing at objects and putting objects into a box (not just pulling them out!)  So, today, Ellie said, "Mama, dada, Ellie."  She pointed at our noses and the light when asked and she dropped a block into her toy cooking pot.  What else can we say?!  This kid is a genius!  (...and cute.)
