Today was Ellie’s last swim day for another month. She is doing great in the water – even floating on her back with less stress. I lowered our hot tub temperature and the three of us have been swimming (only Ellie for that part) in the hot tub every other day. Ellie loves it – she scares me just a little with her total trust that we will be exactly wherever she needs us to be. She enjoys standing on the benches that go the entire way around the tub, walking about, then letting go – turning – and pushing off in our general direction. Of course, I am always right with her, but geez! She always gives a great, big grin before pushing off and if a little bit of her face goes underwater in the process, she comes up clapping and laughing.
